Roughly 70% of your desired physical change comes from what you eat. What strikes me as odd however is that almost nobody pays attention to this portion of their health and fitness. While you may think you’re eating “healthy,” you would be shocked to see what’s really going in your mouth. I want you to take a guess at how many calories are in Chipotle’s burrito bowl with tofu, brown rice, veggies, guacamole (no cheese or sour cream)…
The answer is 835 calories. And IF you get cheese and sour cream –> it’s 1050!
To put this in perspective, I’m currently doing Insanity while maintaining a daily calorie count of 1960 over the course of 6 meals. This means that I have 810 calories left to split over 5 meals, or 162 calories per meal. In other words, dinner may as well consist of 2 Polly-O string cheese sticks at 70 calories a piece. Not much of a dinner if you ask me. :-/
